Short-term letting in Peregian Beach
Peregian Beach is the southernmost coastal suburb of Noosa Shire, and owners here should not confuse it with Peregian Springs or Peregian Breeze, which sit inland across the boundary in Sunshine Coast Council. That distinction matters because the Noosa Short Stay Letting and Home Hosted Accommodation Local Law applies in Peregian Beach and not on the other side of the line.
The suburb is mostly detached houses and duplexes on flat, sandy streets between David Low Way and the dunes, with a handful of small apartment blocks near the village square. Body corporate complexes are far less common than in Noosa Heads or Coolum, so most owners deal directly with council rather than an on-site letting manager. Sunday markets and live music in the village square, and the Peregian Originals concerts, give the area a relaxed community feel that guests specifically seek out.
Bookings come from families and couples who want a quieter alternative to Noosa Heads while staying within 15 minutes of Hastings Street. Demand is highest from Christmas to late January, at Easter and in the winter school holidays, and drops back during the wetter months of February and March.
